Pune’s second ibis Hotel, at Hinjewadi, opens its doors to guests. Aspires to serve business travelers visiting the IT hub.
ibis Hotel Hinjewadi, second in Pune under the ibis brand of hotels, formally opened its doors for guests on Thursday. The 136-room property will aspire to address the need of business travelers visiting the Rajeev Gandhi Infotech Park for work, Mr. Anant Leekha, General Manager, said at the launch.
Location
Strategically located within 5 km of the Mumbai-Bangalore highway, the hotel is in close proximity to the International Biotech Park and with various multinational corporations such as Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Accenture and IBM located nearby. The hotel is situated approximately 20km from Pune Airport and the railway station. The Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex which hosts several national and international sporting events is located within the hotel surrounds.
InterGlobe Hotels is part of the InterGlobe Group which has interests in travel and tourism areas (including IndiGo Airlines). It has a joint venture with global hospitality major Accor Group of hotels to set up hotels in India under the ibis brand.

Mr. Leekha said 46 of the 136 rooms are two-bedded and there are three inter-connectable units (6 rooms) on each floor. All rooms will have basic amenities including air-conditioning, a comfortable bed, cable TV and free WiFi connectivity.

To celebrate its opening, ibis Pune Hinjewadi is offering a special price of INR 3,699 per night, with breakfast for two from now until 31 March 2018, Mr. Leekha said.
The property will be of particular convenience to guests who have business appointments in IT companies located in Phase 3 and Phase 4 of the Rajeev Gandhi Infotech Park, Mr. Rahul Marwah said, referring to the traffic snarls witnessed during the mornings and evenings as huge number of vehicles enter and exit Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the IT hub.
